Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

With an aging population and the increasing prevalence of myocardial infarction and coronary artery disease, the long-term effect of the myocardial damage can lead to worsening heart failure. Furthermore, the incidence of non-ischemic cardiomyopathy and amyloidosis will raise. The patients with advanced heart failure have very high utilization with high recurrent hospitalization and device utilization. Optimal treatment and management of these patients are very important for better outcomes and cost-saving. With this issue, hopefully, we can address some difficulties in the management of this population.

  1. Stage D Heart failure. What are the options?
  2. Optimal Treatment of Systolic Heart failure
  3. Optimal Treatment of diastolic Heart Failure
  4. When Cardiac Support Device Implantation is Indicated?
  5. Indication for Cardiac transplantation and contraindications
  6. Destination Therapy
