Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to announce a special issue of Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine dedicated to the critical and evolving role of Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) for patients with heart disease. This issue aims to highlight the significance of CPET in assessing cardiovascular health and guiding therapeutic strategies. We invite authors and scientists to contribute their research and insights, exploring various aspects of CPET and its application in the management of heart conditions.
The special issue will delve into the utilization of CPET as a powerful diagnostic tool, shedding light on its role in evaluating cardiac and pulmonary function during exercise stress testing. Authors are encouraged to delve into topics encompassing heart failure, different cardiomyopathies (i.e. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, Cardiac Amyloidosis), and emerging therapies, elucidating how CPET can aid in the prognosis and treatment of these conditions.
By fostering a collection of diverse and cutting-edge research articles, this special issue endeavors to advance our understanding of CPET and its potential to revolutionize cardiovascular care. We look forward to a collaborative effort from the research community, presenting a comprehensive view of the advancements in CPET and its implications for the future of cardiac healthcare.

All manuscripts will be thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. Please visit the Instruction for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) in this open access journal is 2200 USD. Submitted manuscripts should be well formatted in good English.
