We extend a warm invitation to scholars and researchers in the field of cardiovascular medicine to contribute their expertise to our upcoming special issue, "Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing and Cardiac Rehabilitation," in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine. This special issue aims to provide a comprehensive exploration of the latest advancements, research findings, and clinical insights in the areas of cardiopulmonary exercise testing, cardiac rehabilitation, and heart failure.

  1. Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET): We will delve into cutting-edge developments in CPET, exploring its role in assessing cardiovascular health, risk stratification, and personalized treatment approaches. Researchers are encouraged to share their studies on innovative CPET protocols, technological advancements, and their application in various clinical settings.
  2. Cardiac Rehabilitation: Topics may include novel rehabilitation strategies, patient outcomes, and the integration of technology to enhance rehabilitation programs.
  1. Heart Failure: Scholars are invited to present their research on the effectiveness of exercise-based interventions in improving outcomes for heart failure patients.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts will be thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. Please visit the Instruction for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) in this open access journal is 2200 USD. Submitted manuscripts should be well formatted in good English.
