Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The “2021 AHA/ACC/ ASE/CHEST/SAEM/SCCT/SCMR Guidelines for the Evaluation and Diagnosis of Chest Pain” was published in 2021. It emphasizes the importance of rapid risk stratification and efficient diagnosis. The serial measurement of high-sensitive troponin and coronary artery computed tomography angiogram are important diagnostic tools. Even if significant coronary stenosis is confirmed except for the left main tract, the results of the ISCHEMIA trial indicate that coronary intervention is no longer necessary in all cases. In light of the major changes in diagnosis and treatment methods for the acute coronary syndrome, we invite authors to contribute original papers in this field.
