Dear Colleagues,
In current, cancer remains a serious disease endangering human health. This special issue mainly includes three aspects: (1) Environmental toxicology. A lot of environmental factors contribute to the development of cancer and related diseases, such as environmental organic pollutants, irradiation, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, tumor virus and so on. It is inevitable to directly or indirectly contact these environmental factors. Therefore, the effects of environmental factors on humans and mammals, including the toxicity, mutagenicity and carcinogenicity, are one focus of this special issue. (2) Cancer diagnosis and imaging. Early diagnosis of cancer is one of the bottlenecks in clinical setting, which relates to the prognosis of patients. Therefore, researches associated to cancer diagnosis and imaging (e.g., small molecule probe and biological probe, new imaging reagents or methods and principles, etc) are welcome. (3) Carcinogenesis and cancer prevention and treatment. The mechanism of carcinogenesis, cancer risk factors, cancer therapeutic methods, anticancer drugs both fall within the scope of the special issue. Of course, the experimental study and theoretical study (e.g., in silico modelling, computational toxicology, QSAR, artificial intelligence, machine learning and bioinformatics) as well as the review articles are both welcome. We encourage worldwide scholars to devote themselves to the development of cancer research and environmental toxicology. We welcome papers in related fields to contribute to our special issue, so as to make joint efforts in academic development.

Manuscripts should be submitted via our online editorial system at https://imr.propub.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to start your submission. Manuscripts can be submitted now or up until the deadline. All papers will go through peer-review process. Accepted papers will be published in the journal (as soon as accepted) and meanwhile listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, reviews as well as short communications are preferred. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office to announce on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts will be thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. Please visit the Instruction for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) in this open access journal is 2500 USD. Submitted manuscripts should be well formatted in good English.
